Jenée is an Emmy Award winning editor with over 25 years experience working in editorial and post production as an editor, assistant editor, and post production supervisor for features, broadcast television series, streaming series, indie projects, documentaries, and short films. She is well-versed in file, videotape, and film based post production workflows. She is a skilled educator, instructional designer, and Avid Certified Instructor (since 2004), with a unique ability to learn complex technical and procedural tasks quickly, master and refine them, and effectively train others to a level of mastery — online, in a classroom, or on the job. As a media scholar, Jenée is fascinated with how the development of new technologies (such as Virtual Production and Generative Artificial Intelligence most recently) drives new production techniques, which in turn pushes the boundaries of aesthetic expression in the media arts. Jenée holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from the University of Arizona, a Master of Science in Education from Full Sail University, and a Master of Fine Arts in Editing from the American Film Institute.
